The International Summer Program (ISP) at Konkuk University is a four-week long summer program that provides a great opportunity for international students wishing to learn about and experience Korea and its culture. This program is suitable for students majoring in various fields and especially valuable to those having a general interest in Korea. Students can now utilize their summer vacation to gain an understanding of this vibrant region that is considered as a global economic powerhouse and a gateway to the world.
Established in 1946, Konkuk University has long been known for its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and globalization in Korea. Located in Seoul, it is recognized as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private comprehensive universities. The advantage of the 2014 KU International Summer Program (ISP) is manifold: not only can the students have their credits transferred to the home institutions, but they can also enjoy various special activities that are included as part of the program such as field trips, cultural workshops, weekend programs and other events. These activities will allow students to learn about Korea, as well as to meet program participants from other countries for valuable cross-cultural experiences that are not available at home.
