Korea Aerospace University (한국항공대학교) is a private university in Goyang, Gyeonggi, South Korea. Established in 1952 as a national university, it was taken over by Jungseok Foundation established by Hanjin Group and transferred to a private university. The university — which encompasses most of the aerospace fields including Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Air Transportation and Logistics, Aeronautical Science & Flight Operation, and Air and Space Law — has been designated to take several national undertakings and collaborative research projects with prominent global corporations including GE, Airbus, PLANSEE since 2009.

Dongguk University (동국대학교) is a private, coeducational university in South Korea, based on Buddhism. The university operates campuses in Seoul, Goyang, Gyeongju, and Los Angeles, United States. The university operates two affiliated hospitals of Western medicine, and four of Oriental medicine, a generic term which includes traditional Korean medicine studies.

Hanyang University (한양대학교) is one of the leading private research universities of South Korea, especially in the field of engineering. The main campus is in Seoul, and its branch, the Education Research Industry Cluster at Ansan, or ERICA campus, is located in Ansan. Hanyang derives from the former name of the capital Seoul used during the Chosun Dynasty. The university was established as an engineering institute in 1939, and became the founding facility of Hanyang University with its motto and educational philosophy of Love in Deed and Truth.

Kookmin University (국민대학교) is the first private university after the liberation of the Republic of Korea from Japan. The campus is located in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The KU was established in 1946. Gu kim, Soang Jo and Ikhee Shin, who were the cabinet members of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, agreed to train great leaders for the Republic of Korea. Soon, they became the banner of the Kookmin University. Ikhee Shin contributed to play a key role in its foundation, and was inaugurated as the First President of the University.

Korea University (고려대학교) is a private research university in Seoul, South Korea. Established in 1905, Korea University is one of the nation’s oldest and most prominent institutions of higher education. The student body consists of over 20,000 undergraduate students and over 10,000 graduate students. The university’s academic breadth is broad with its 81 departments in 19 colleges and divisions, as well as 18 graduate schools. It has over 1,500 full-time faculty members with over 95% of them holding Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in their field.[4] The Korea University Alumni Association consists of more than 280,000 university graduates.

Yonsei University (연세대학교) is a private research university in Seoul, South Korea. It is one of Korea’s three SKY universities, a group of universities widely regarded as the most prestigious in the country. Yonsei was established in 1885 and is one of the oldest universities in South Korea. The student body consists of 26,731 undergraduate students, 11,994 graduate students, 4,518 faculty members, 6,788 staff, and 257,931 alumni. Yonsei operates its main campus in Seoul and offers graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Korean and English.
